As demand for online legal education grows, AllCampus supports Vanderbilt University’s launch of its new Master of Legal Studies.

AllCampus, a leading online program management services provider partnering with top institutions to make higher education more affordable, accessible and equitable, today announced it is supporting a new program for Vanderbilt University. AllCampus is providing a customized bundle of services for Vanderbilt University’s Office of Digital Education, which supported the development of Vanderbilt Law School’s new Master of Legal Studies. This marks an expansion of Vanderbilt and AllCampus’s relationship, which already includes an online Business Management Certificate program with Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management.

“We chose AllCampus because of its flexibility, creativity, and willingness to work with our office to provide bespoke support services,” said Mallika Vinekar, Director of the Office of Digital Education. “We’re excited to partner with the Law School to provide an online master’s degree program for those looking to gain sophistication about the legal system in a flexible way, and we are grateful for AllCampus’ support.”

Vanderbilt University’s new online Master of Legal Studies (MLS) is offered through the university’s Law School and features courses in core topic areas such as Intro to US law, contracts, corporations and business entities, regulatory state and compliance and legal research. The online MLS also explores elective subjects like intellectual property, employment law, securities regulation, corporate finance, employment discrimination, taxation and more. The program is designed to provide non-lawyers with in-depth knowledge of legal concepts while equipping them with necessary tools to understand legal issues in their chosen profession.

As a Public Benefit Limited Liability Company (PBLLC), AllCampus strives to provide the highest quality service to its partners at the most affordable cost in the industry. By leveraging its proprietary technology and corporate alliances, AllCampus is able to support employer-driven programs and partnerships that are inherently more valuable to students at the lowest price point possible. This partnership with Vanderbilt University furthers AllCampus’ goal of increasing access and affordability for all students while driving down the cost of education.

AllCampus is implementing a unique, fee-for-service arrangement with Vanderbilt University that includes research, marketing strategy, and enrollment support. Vanderbilt has independently handled curriculum development, course development, and student support services for enrolled students.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Vanderbilt University and their Office of Digital Education,” said Stephen Burnett, law school advisor at AllCampus. “As more highly ranked law schools adapt their offerings to meet student demands and include online learning options, collaboration between subject matter experts at those schools and online learning experts such as AllCampus will result in prestigious, pedagogically sound programs. Our expertise matched with Vanderbilt’s top-ranked law school has come together to offer a high-quality, flexible degree program that meets students’ demands, as well as expectations of their current and future employers.”
